At the confluence of the Rio Negro and Rio Soliomes near Manaus, Brazil, the two rivers run along side of each other for nearly 30 miles.

Most churches in this part of the Amazon are Catholic churches from the 1600-1700's. Some people "believe," but for most, it's just a cultural practice.

This traditional Satere Mawe home is an increasingly uncommon find. Many in the tribe have given up traditional architecture for wooden plank houses, which are easier to build.
This bridge caused much disunity and division between the Catholics on one side of the bridge and the evangelicals on the other. We taught about unity in Christ.
